Silver thimble. Circa, 17th-18th century AD. Silver, 5.5 grams. 18mm x 15mm. A short two piece thimble with its surface covered in small dimples. The lower section of the body is detailed with a pelleted band, above are a series of foliate scrolls and and two putti supporting a pair of hearts, engraved with the initials, A A.
